Ancon stainless steel ties and fixings play a vital role in repairing, maintaining and enhancing masonry and blockwork structures. Special crack-stitching kits and remedial wall ties are available to upgrade ageing brick walls during general repair work or as part of insulation or retrofit operations.
In concrete structures, Ancon MBT bolted couplers are often specified for structural upgrading or extensions to reinforced concrete structures, such as bridge deck widening projects – securely and reliably connecting new reinforced concrete elements to existing rebars in the original structure.
